“Crazy Dutch weather”
Dear Bebé,
Today at the office, I watched the rain poured down, lightly, very calmly. Then it was hard then calm again. It reminded me of the Dutch weather.
“Crazy Dutch weather”, as you would always say.
As I gazed through the window, it brought me back to those memories walking, biking, “fighting” ourselves through the rain. Sometimes (probably all the time haha) the wind was so hard, we could barely bike through it. Remember those times when you had to do it with your old bike? Ash, crazy. The sweet part? Coming home together from IHE with you.
Those rain, you used to dislike it. For me, it’s more of a love hate relationship. Looking back, it was fun, wasn’t it? Remembering those moments in the rain. Sometimes when we’d planned to take a walk as the sun was shining, but then the weather shifted in a click— the wind came hard and then wet.
“I don’ want to go out. It’s cold outside” you would say, squinting your eyes against the chill. We stayed inside, wrapped with our (yours) grey and green blankets, continued watching our series. Good times, right?
